Students are part of ‘Next Generation Digital Action 2024’ - a global youth initiative that aims to empower young people from diverse backgrounds to share their ideas, perspectives, and actions on how digital technologies can transform societies inclusively and sustainably. This initiative brings together students, academics, and entrepreneurs to foster innovation and drive meaningful change in the digital landscape. 
Presentations will reflect the work by student teams on below themes in collaboration with Ramboll, Water Research Commission, South African Local Government Association, Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent – South Africa and the partnership in India between NITI Aayog, Innovation Center Denmark in Bangalore, Ministry og Environment in Denmark and IIT Madras. 

• Leveraging emerging digital technologies to strengthen water security with Managed Aquifer Recharge (by Rambøll)
• Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Water and Sanitation Infrastructure Project Pricing (by Water Research Commission, South African Local Government Association, Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent – South Africa)
• Data driven water security and safety (by NITI Aayog, Innovation Center Denmark in Bangalore, Ministry og Environment in Denmark and IIT Madras)
